This privacy policy applies to the Plexo: Movies & Shows app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Plexo: Movies & Shows Developer (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
• The time spent on the Application
• The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that the Service Provider request will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.

Watchlist, watched status, personal ratings, private notes, recently viewed titles, recent searches, quiz progress, earned coins and cosmetics are stored locally on your device. Plexo has no user account, app-operated cloud synchronization, subscriptions or real-money shop. Standard device backups may contain app data. Clear Local Data removes these records from this device.

Plexo sends catalog requests, title and person identifiers, search terms and selected request parameters to The Movie Database (TMDB), and loads images from image.tmdb.org. These services receive ordinary network metadata such as IP address. Provider availability is supplied by JustWatch via TMDB and is informational. Opening a trailer loads a YouTube embed from youtube-nocookie.com, which may process network and playback data under Google's policies. Plexo does not host or stream movies or TV episodes.

Only after you select Agree in the in-app disclosure, Plexo sends the text of each user message, the conversation identifier (chat_id), and a fixed movie/TV instruction (system_prompt) to OpenRouter Chat proxy, a third-party AI chat service hosted on Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app. The fixed system_prompt is sent to create a session; chat_id and message are sent to request a response. The purpose is to answer movie/TV questions and generate recommendations. AI responses are returned to your device. Do not submit personal, financial, confidential or sensitive information. Watchlists and private rating notes are not automatically sent to chat; Ask AI About This only prepares a title-based draft that you choose whether to send.

The OpenRouter Chat proxy may retain conversation history server-side keyed by chat_id for continuity. Plexo persists the chat_id together with the matching visible transcript on this device so you can continue after restarting the app. Clear Chat cancels an in-flight request and clears local messages, draft, errors and session identifier without revoking consent. Turning off AI chat data sharing in Settings revokes consent, cancels the local request, clears the local session and transcript, and blocks both create and message requests until you explicitly agree again. Clear Local Data also revokes consent. These controls do not retract data already sent or delete server-side history. Contact the developer for questions about previously submitted data and deletion requests; no specific server retention period or deletion API is represented by the app.

The third-party AI service is expected to protect submitted data under the same or equivalent confidentiality and security commitments described in this Privacy Policy. This statement is an expectation of the service provider, not a claim that Plexo independently controls or has verified every downstream processor or its retention practices.

The app retains Branch and Facebook attribution infrastructure. When configured, these services process attribution, app lifecycle and event information, network metadata and permitted device identifiers to measure marketing campaigns and handle attribution links. App Tracking Transparency is requested before the attribution launch sequence; access to the advertising identifier depends on your system permission. You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings. Denying tracking permission does not disable the movie catalog or local library. AI chat consent is separate from tracking permission.

The feedback form prepares an email addressed to plexomoviesshows@gmail.com. You must send that email in your email application; the form does not claim delivery. The information you choose to include is handled by your email provider and the developer to respond to your request.

The Application sends data to the services described below when those features are used. AI chat messages are not anonymized automatically; do not enter sensitive information. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at plexomoviesshows@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

AI chat requires a separate explicit consent action before either session creation or a message request. Merely opening or using Plexo does not grant AI chat consent. Tracking permission is requested separately through Apple App Tracking Transparency.
